the study room has three windows.

when we draw the blinds over them,

crazy shadows dance

place.

on my way to school

everyday last week,

i passed by this pair of black flats sun-baking on top of a brick wall.

on the last day,

i brought along my gakkenflex,

hopped up on the wall,

and snapped a picture of the shoes,

and the sun

so full that my belly's popping outta my jeans

it is good to wake up at 10 in the morning

it rained on me today

and like every other day,

i had no umbrella with me.

i walked about in the rain in squishy shoes,

in a sea of umbrellas,

on the hunt for an elusive bus-stop

the house is quiet

everyone is out watching opera at the domain,
and lizzy's at the opera house watching serena williams play on the big screen.

the mood in the house is smokey...... and lazy.... and just perfect

I thought I'd escaped the last of Giordano's repulsive "Cheer You Up" tees when I left Singapore.

but as I was walking back from Glebe along High Street this arvo,
in lovely 24 degree weather,
with the breeze blowing through my hair,
and pleasant thoughts going through my head,

a yellow Cheer You Up popped out of NOwhere and startled me considerably.

I stinkeyed that unsuspecting woman.

CYU people,
if you really want to cheer people up,
turn your tees inside out
and wear it that way.

we were cutting fruit for tomorrow's breakfast when we decided to compete and see who could make a better animal.

coincidentally both of us made giraffes,

although mine was way more aesthetic.

tim built his entire giraffe out of banana peel.

BUT he used the fruit sticker for the eye, and apple STEMS for horns:

although the kiwi seed eye fell in accidentally.

talk about genius!

so i admitted defeat sadly and declared him the winner.
