2CCR/TMJ

That's me! That's half of my half of hair!
Considering that he gets a whole lot of people downloading his podcasts every week, AND
considering that they have no choice but to see his (rather oldish) display picture before they download his podcasts,
that picture with half of my half of hair in it..
I
AM
FAMOUS
Half of Sydney has seen my hair,
I'm practically a celebrity.

African Dress

I've been working on this dress for the past three lessons.
I designed it :)

This morning I jumped out of bed, grabbed my hem cutter,
finished the buttonholes,
and woke everyone up so that they could see my new dress.
I still have to hem the bottom, but I was too excited and took pictures first.

See the last picture down there?

That's an invisible zip that lao shi and I put in together.
I told her that both of us were nothing short of geniuses.
She didn't understand but gave me a nice kindly smile
We've grown to like each other a lot :)

Jude and anthony (my bffs)
Dear readers,
how often do you pray to Saint Jude and Saint Anthony (patron saints of desperate and lost causes) when you lose your things? I pray to them ALL THE TIME. To intercede on behalf of my lost belongings. They are SO HIGHLY effective you wouldn't believe. It's not like praying to God and asking him for guidance and getting an answer a year later. Saint Jude and Saint Anthony- they are INSTANT gratification. Sometimes I start praying to them even before I start looking for misplaced things. It's cheating a bit but they don't know. So I just find my things faster.

to my bff 3918 miles away,
happy birthday.
you ninny.
:)
PS We are much more handsome in real life. My arms do not begin at my waist, and he's got a lovely lush crop of hair atop his head.

Fresh from the kiln (Fusing)
The boat is made out of dichromate glass, which is expensive stuff as its been coated with pure metals like silver, gold, and copper. That black and white thing in the clearing is a skunk.
His name is Aaron :)
Mum said that they were stars in the sky.
Jie France did a gasp and said they were other houses scattered about the hills.
Actually they were supposed to be flowers, as the piece was supposed to be titled 'House on a Prairie' initially, but stars and houses work great with me too

this kind of mood

i'm in the midst of trying to cut and sew my own blouse (with my own pattern).
It is hot and stuffy inside my room because i've turned off the fan so that my cloth wouldn't flap about so
i am hot, and damp, and just a little annoyed.
But other than that i feel just like that girl in the picture:
Serene, quiet, and peaceful.
but without my hair blowing in the breeze.

I've never carved a pumpkin before. But I would love to, one day.
Check out these epic pumpkins carved by Evan
