My delicate (new) embroidery hoop had the greatest adventure in her life today.
As I sat at the bus-stop, she flew out of my hands, bounced down the curb, and rolled merrily across and down the road for a good 10 metres, somehow managing to avoid getting crushed beneath the tyres of at least 5 vehicles.
Just as she was about to turn into Fulton Road,
I darted across the road, picked her up, darted back again, and gave myself a pat on my back.
All was well.
